Spotlight Interview with Kim Woodhall, Product Lead in Wealth, CREALOGIX

1. Why did you decide to do a webinar with us?

We chose to work with Private Banker International (PBI) because the audience of C-level executives and professionals in wealth management aligns very well with the CREALOGIX proposition. In addition, the quality and standard of the information, expert commentary and insight fits very well with our aim to be a fintech ally within wealth management. We’re not simply aiming to sell software that gives a great user experience for investors and boosts client engagement. We’re keen to educate traditional firms on how their firm can add value to their service and increase efficiency across the organisation and PBI is an excellent forum for knowledge sharing.

2. What will the audience gain from attending your webinar?

In our webinar, Making the case for digitalisation, we’re sharing some of the ways that digitalisation can deliver a return on investment and exploring some high-impact KPIs that will help digital advocates make a clear business case for digital client services. We’ll be addressing key questions, including the growing threat of digital-first challenger services, changing consumer expectations around digital and the risk of ignoring the digital revolution. We also cover one of the most frequent questions we receive about whether digitalisation means a loss of staff – our aim is to deliver technology that frees up staff time to focus on what they do best and this webinar covers how that can work in practice.

3. How did you get into the industry and what do you most enjoy about your role?

I have worked in the wealth management sector for 20 years, in the UK and in the US. I believe that digital wealth technologies will play a pivotal role in the future of the wealth management industry. What I love about my role is the chance to develop solutions that help to transform wealth management firms so that they are well placed to thrive and grow in the future It feels like we’re at the tipping point and there’s no turning back from the move to digital that occurred due to the pandemic. It’s an exciting time to be working with wealth management firms as they seek to keep pace with investor requirements and build for future commercial success.

4. What are you hoping to achieve in the future in your personal and professional life?

I am currently studying for an MSc in Sustainability and Behaviour Change at the Centre for Alternative Technology, and this aligns closely with my interest in ESG and impact investing. We know from our conversations with clients that this is an area where clients are demanding more sophisticated solutions and it connects very well with my own passion for the environment, including sustainable business practices and investments.
