What do you hope attendees will gain at your webinar?

That an Integrated Finance system, capable of managing different business lines from within 1 system, can be a catalyst for their organization to succeed in meeting the challenges of their changing market.

What discussions do you look forward to having with the attendees?

I look forward to hearing what the biggest challenges are for them in meeting changing customers expectations. Especially from a systems’ point of view. I’m positive that an Integrated Finance system can alleviate some of those pain points.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

The opportunity to engage with people who are on the front line of change. How they experience the evolution in their industry in their day-to-day work and what their strategies are to embrace that change and be successful in the future. It’s very rewarding to jointly explore how we can support and become part of their strategy for future success.

How did you get into the industry?

Honestly? Via pregnant women. *laughs*. Let me explain. When I was recently graduated, I had the opportunity to temporarily replace someone in the Lexus Europe marketing team who was on maternity leave. 2 years later, this experience at Lexus Europe was the deciding factor for being offered a temporary job at Toyota Financial Services Europe. Again, to replace someone who was on maternity leave. After 8 years at TFSE, I joined Sofico, where I started on a temporary contract, to replace someone in their marketing team who was on maternity leave.

Where is your favourite place in the world and why?

My home city of Ghent, in Belgium. I was born there but raised in the countryside. I spent several years abroad, living in the US, Greece, Germany and the UK and when returning to live in Ghent, I’m always struck by it’s architectural beauty and it’s lively atmosphere, maybe even more so than if I had lived there all my life.
