David Sinclair – CRO, HardHat
What do you hope attendees will gain at your webinar?
I’d like to provide all the attendees an opportunity to learn from an industry expert around the coming legislation and of course learn about how simple it is to create safer, faster, smarter mining operations with a solution like HardHat. We hope to give attendees actionable insights to help them achieve a completely connected, integrated, safe operation.
What discussions do you look forward to having with the attendees?
Hearing as much feedback about the changes to the legislation and what are the challenges the attendees have recognised their business may face with these imminent changes.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
Working with all the talented team members at HardHat and bringing innovation to the mining industry to improve people’s safety, business outcomes and productivity across the sector.
How did you get into the industry?
I’ve been in the technology space for quite some time. My journey into the Mining industry started at university where I studied applied geology but my experience around technology in the mining industry started in around 2005, when I worked at SAP, helping to create an Industry Value Network for Mining around SAP’s Netweaver technology. During that time I had the opportunity to work with many innovative Australian mining technology companies and then worked directly with a few of these companies such as Citect and Schneider Electric. Over the past ten years, I’ve worked with a range of companies including a global cloud vendor where I helped developed industry technology partnership and ecosystems and that’s how I ended joining HardHat.
Where is your favourite place in the world and why?
For a Holiday – Vietnam – great weather, great food, beautiful locations and friendly people.
For a cultural experience – Paris – culture, fashion, food & wine.
For Nostalgia’s sake – London – live there for a few years as a teenager, its like a second home.
