- What do you hope attendees will gain at your webinar?
Just to be challenged with a different perspective. Wealth management success is as much about client management and client experience as it is about the financial focus, but sometimes doesn’t necessarily get as much attention. As client expectations are increasing, wealth management companies need to focus on identifying and removing points of friction and improving digital readiness.
- What discussions do you look forward to having with the attendees?
I’d love to learn from practitioners on the call about that they’ve done to improve client experiences and to share some of the best practices that we’ve learned from some of our customers.
- What do you enjoy most about your role?
I’m in Product Marketing for a company that serves financial services as well as insurance and healthcare companies around the world – it’s a role which connects product, marketing, sales and services together. Combining these perspectives with real customer insight and impact and being able to share those stories more broadly is rewarding. .
- How did you get into the industry?
I did a lot of different things before I feel into technology marketing – including being an English teacher in Japan, a fruit picker and vote counter in Australia, as well as a mortgage consultant here in the States. I started in the technology space in sales originally while in graduate school but soon found that sales wasn’t my thing. I moved into to a services role running strategic digital marketing engagements for customers and have been around technology ever since.
- Where is your favourite place in the world and why?
Scotland – just full of great people with the right perspective on life.
