Arnaud Fournier – Regional Market Development Manager, NAM

Why did you decide to do a webinar with us?

Webinars are a great way to share information with a large audience from all over the world. We’d like to spread the word about the excellent work we do, our knowledge and insights that can help in developing injectable drugs.

What will the audience gain from attending your webinar?

I’m hoping the attendees will gain insights to our business, our expertise and how we can support our customers at different stages of their drug development project. Of course we will share some recent studies which underline our scientific know how and our value in providing high quality, state of the art stoppers, for optimal protection of sensitive drugs

How did you get into the industry and what do you most enjoy about your role?

I started my career with Stelmi 15 years ago as a Marketing Project manager in France. I was a working on the stoppers business for injectable drugs, and as you know, stoppers play a key role in the protection of injectable drug products. Now my role is much larger and covers all the aspects of injectable components.

Actually, I really love my job and I feel I’m making a difference. I especially like listening to customers, getting to understand their needs and expectations and their problems and then helping them find solutions that will accompany their medications for many years.

What are you hoping to achieve in the future in your personal and professional life?

There are so many things I would like to accomplish, new challenges to take up and these are not things that you do alone. In Aptar Pharma, we have a very open and collaborative way of working with many expert teams sharing their knowledge. I am lucky to be in a great company and surrounded by fantastic people. I’m passionate about the long term success of our company, which provides me with a real sense of purpose.

What would someone be surprised to know about you?

There’s a common belief that all French people eat cheese and lots of it. I think the average French person eats about 25kg every year and there’s plenty of choice- over 246 varieties to choose from. But even though I am French born and bred, I don’t eat any cheeses, I simply don’t like the taste. I’d much rather have a nice glass of wine. Cheers.
