What do you hope attendees will gain at your webinar?

My hope is that the attendees will gain a greater understanding of how a standardised and scalable workflow solution will help them handle their landlords accounting information.  Hopefully they’ll be able to see how much more efficient this workflow solution is and allow them to free up their time to provide a greater client experience and outputs.

What discussions do you look forward to having with the attendees?

I’m looking forward to discussing how some of the cool features within Xero can be utilised for landlords.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

The thing I enjoy the most about my current role is very much in keeping with Xero’s mission and purpose. I love seeing how the cloud enables things to be seamless, simple and smarter and how harnessing those can help make the lives of small business owners and their advisors better.

How did you get into the industry?

It is a pretty dull tale of not really knowing what to do after completing my a-levels; following a chance suggestion from an accountant who used to go into the shop my mum worked in I applied to a few firms and then got my first job and never looked back. Working at various accountancy firms then led me to joining Xero almost 3 years ago as a Partner Consultant before moving into my current role officially this year.

Where is your favourite place in the world and why?

Ice Arena Wales, that’s where the Cardiff Devils ice hockey team play. My wife and I are season ticket holders and go to every game.  My youngest son Alfie even attended his first game at 6 days old. Unfortunately with COVID the EIHL had to stop in March with a few games left of the season and the 2020 – 21 season was subsequently cancelled.  I’m hoping that we can get back to watching more ice hockey late this year.
