Sustainability: a holistic approach to environmental, economic and social management

Sustainable architecture aspires to encourage architects, designers, community planners and real estate developers to create buildings and communities that will neither deplete natural resources nor negatively impact the Earth's functioning. This process involves implementing a combination of energy-efficient technology, renewable materials, and innovative design to reduce waste, promote sustainable products to therefore minimise the environmental impact of a new development.

This one hour discussion will explore:
• The latest innovations around sustainable architecture
• New insights on best practice to minimise climate change
• Overcoming cost related issues with Green architecture and design
• How to successfully meet the needs of today’s generation without compromising the needs of the next

The webinar is the last one in the series ahead of the 2019 edition of the annual Leading European Architects Forum taking place in Berlin, Germany, on the 23rd and 24th October 2019.
The Forum consistently attracts original and influential thinkers in the industry, creating a programme that debates and challenges the issues facing the architectural community and our built environment at large. This year traditionally we will bring together senior decision makers from leading international architectural practices, contractors, developers, engineers, designers and suppliers to discuss future build projects, challenges they face, key design features and tech innovations changing the way they work.
