As of today, there are still vast territories that deserve better connectivity. This represents very interesting opportunities for network providers striving to extend the reach for high-speed connectivity over the oceans and over remote territories that doesn’t benefit from such network yet.
The constant reduction of satellite launch cost and the newly emerging Low-Earth-Orbit (LEO) and Geosynchronous-Earth-Orbit (GEO) satellites high speed communication technologies give raise to a whole new market where modern networks can extend behind the horizons and hold the promises for global connectivity.
This webinar will describe why optic communications in space are a key element of the success of those new networks. From intra-satellite to inter-satellite high speed link, optical communication over fiber optics or over optical wireless optical terminal can help extracting the most of those new communication architectures while offering low SWaP.
Space environment differs from orbit to orbit and it is important for all space electro-optics hardware providers, designers and product managers to understand many parameters and key values that can make the difference between successful missions and disasters.
