Choosing the right rugged and secured-core PC

Panasonic TOUGHBOOK is the European market leader for rugged mobile computing.

We’ve worked in partnership with defence organisations for over 20 years to deliver vehicle-mounted and handheld rugged mobile PC solutions for today’s digitally enabled militaries.

Our mission-ready, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) mobile devices are trusted by forces and system integrators around the world. Why? Because they’re tested to the toughest military standards, ensuring durability, reliability and security.

Panasonic TOUGHBOOK is the European market leader for rugged mobile computing.

One example of a recent successful development , in close collaboration with Microsoft, is the Panasonic TOUGHBOOK 55. It is the first rugged computing device in the most secure Windows PC category.

Designed for mission-critical users in the most sensitive data industries, a Secured-core PC enables users to boot securely, protect their device from firmware vulnerabilities, shield the operating system from attacks and prevent unauthorised access to devices and data with advanced access controls and authentication systems.
