Peter Quinlan,
VP of Unified Communications and Collaboration, Tata Communications
Peter Quinlan is Vice President UC&C Product Management at Tata Communications, part of the $108 billion Tata group. He is the global product owner responsible for the UC&C product portfolio which includes SIP Trunking, Unified Collaboration, IPT & Video Services, and Hosted Contact Centre businesses.
In this responsibility Peter has redefined global product strategy and led the launch of SIP Trunking, Unified Conferencing, Hosted Contact Centre, Skype for Business services, and implementation of an API strategy to increase business flexibility and enabling new partnership and revenue models. Peter also has extensive experience in sales, channel management, business development and managed services across Asia Pacific.
He began his career as the first employee for Dell Computer in India, helping to set up operations in Asia and opening a liaison office in New Delhi in 1994. He went on to work for Dell in Malaysia and later also helped to set up Gateway Computers in the region. Subsequently he worked for 3Com and Getronics, and again with Dell where he was the Director of Managed Services, Asia Pacific & Japan before joining Tata Communications in 2007.
