Understand Fleet Data to Make Better Decisions
It is crucial for ship owners and managers to have detailed access to fleet-wide analytics to optimise business processes. Yet, there is lack of know-how on the benefits and use of Business Intelligence (BI) in the maritime industry. There is also uncertainty about the tools available to optimise BI potential for business value. It is common for maritime stakeholders to access fragmented data from multiple third party applications, which prevents effective use of business intelligence. It is therefore important to shed light on the value of unified data sources in a single, integrated Data Warehouse solution.
This webinar will decode how Business Intelligence drives fleet management excellence and adds business value. Ship owners and managers will gain clear definitions on the foundations of BI, including processes and terminology. We will give an overview of tools available to better understand fleet data such as scorecards, trend analysis, and data visualisation. We will also explain the importance of unified data sources in integrated solutions for comprehensive data analysis.
By understanding Business Intelligence terms, tools and processes, maritime stakeholders can effectively use BI for cost and productivity benefits, and achieve their business goals with the backing of data-driven decisions. We will also provide practical examples of how BI is applied in the maritime sphere.
