The Development and Implementation of a Best Practice S&OP Process
TE Connectivity is a global, $12.1 billion company that designs and manufactures over 500,000 products that connect and protect the flow of power and data inside the products that touch every aspect of our lives. TE Connectivity embarked on a journey to dramatically improve their Sales & Operations Planning processes and to deploy a common approach across regions within its automotive business unit.
With its global operations, evolving product requirements and volatile economic conditions TE Connectivity sought advice from experts to help deploy its integrated business planning process with an aim to serve customers better, grow the business and achieve financial results.
Is your business ready to meet the demands of an increasingly complex global supply chain model?
Changes in customer demand and supply dynamics have significant impact on organizational ability to meet due date commitments, revenue and productivity targets. Without the ability to quickly synchronise sales & product management forecasts, high-tech manufacturers are challenged to optimally meet changes in demand.
Planners in all company functions must be enabled with the right solution in order to efficiently create a consensus demand and supply plan that is aligned with factory schedules to deliver on daily promises to customers. These plans must cover multiple customers across multiple regions with a range of products which have financial targets, sales forecasts, production plans and capacity & key material constraints.
