  • Particulate Contamination

Date: 31 March

Time: 2:00pm India/4:30pm Singapore/7:30pm Sydney

Particulate contamination is a very serious concern for a parenteral drug product, as particulates may affect drug quality in several ways and potentially lead to obstruction of blood vessels and inducement of immunogenicity. When looking at FDA recalls of drug products, many of the recalls appear to be particulate-related.

In this webinar, Nancy Liu of West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc., (West) will discuss the particle spectrum and related regulatory requirements. She will also review how packaging materials can generate particulates and contribute to contamination of a drug product.

Additionally, this webinar will also include an overview of Daikyo D Sigma and West's NovaPure® component portfolio.
