Gopi brings over 15 years of clinical research experience in monitoring, project management and study startup. Gopi is a medical graduate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India. He began his clinical research career as a study coordinator and moved up to monitoring, Project Management and study startup. Gopi is passionate about study startup and his moto is “do everything that is possible to deliver the study drug to potential patients as quickly as possible”. In his current role, Gopi is responsible for overseeing study startup Department at PSI in North and Latin America.

With nearly 20 years’ experience in the Clinical Research Industry, Diana Fowler, assumed the position of Head, Study Startup in 2019 at PSI. Her years in Project Management, provided a holistic view of managing global studies, while appreciating the difference in study outcome based on the success or failure of study startup. These lessons learned were her motivation to focus her attention to the process and procedures of study startup; reducing timelines and increasing transparency are the cornerstone to successful site activations.
