In the biopharmaceutical industry â€œtime to marketâ€ is a major driver. An aspect of recent technology development which has shown promise to help address this driver is the use of flexible, single-use manufacturing solutions. These solutions not only decrease or eliminate entirely the time required for production equipment preparation and cleaning, but also significantly decrease the capital investment required for construction of new production plants.
During this webinar the design of state-of-the-art bioproduction plants based on the use of single-use systems throughout the manufacturing process will be described. Jim has a PhD in microbial physiology and biochemistry from the University of Leicester and has published a number of papers on microbial enzymes, upstream and downstream process development.
