Is there room for other players to compete in the global API supply chain

Over the past decade API sourcing strategies have shifted to India and China in order to take advantage of lower cost manufacturing. As costs continue to increase in these markets, will sourcing strategies shift to new emerging markets? Will European players be able to revitalize their presence in the global API market?
