Vegard Andersen is a Technical Oversight Specialist with CSA Group´s Test, Measurement, Laboratory, and Process Control Program and a member of the Technical Quality Team. He has over 20 years of experience in safety evaluation, ensuring products meet CSA C22.2 No. / IEC 61010-1 standard requirements. Over the years, Vegard became an internationally recognized expert in the field. He has been an active member of IEC TC 66 and IECEE ETF 3 since 2012. Through his committee involvement and participation, Vegard contributed to the creation of Amd. 1 to 61010-1 and several 61010-1 part 2 standards.
