Today´s consumers are increasingly demanding plant-based ingredients to improve health status and performances while ensuring a longer, healthier life. Such ingredients must be innovative but easy to understand, sustainable, eco-friendly and evidence based. Soaring market requests make more complicate and riskier to identify and secure high quality, safe and effective ingredients, through a supply chain increasingly tainted by adulteration and unrealistic health benefits claims.
Inspired by the mounting evidence that a Mediterranean-style diet may help cardiovascular, metabolic, digestive and cognitive health, Euromed, the Spain-based specialist global supplier of pharma-grade extracts, developed a line of standardised botanicals that provide holistic and convincing solutions to such challenges and requests, presented in the webinar.
Concentrates from fruits and vegetables cultivated in Mediterranean regions of Spain through sustainable farming and under strict quality control, are manufactured at a dedicated plant using an eco-friendly proprietary extraction technology, the Pure-Hydro Process™, based on ultrapure water as the only solvent. The ingredients are water soluble and highly concentrated, making them versatile and ideal as stand alone or in complex formulas, for healthy ageing in general, or for specific functions such as sport nutrition, glucose metabolism, cardiovascular health, cognition and mood, beauty from within.
The webinar will highlight the technologies to obtain Pomanox®, Mediteanox®, Abalife® and Cynamed™, respectively from pomegranates, olives, figs and artichokes, and the most recent or key scientific data with the ingredients, with particular emphasis on cognitive and cosmetic properties of Pomanox®, the line flagship ingredient. Importantly, for the first time we will present the latest addition: Wellemon™: clinical evidence for eriocitrin-rich lemon extract high bioavailability compared to hesperidin, with increased amount of circulating metabolites, for applications such as venous system support, metabolic and cardiovascular health.
