Our innovation for new opportunities… Empro® and Empro® Tex for unique plant based food applications
Plant-based proteins play an ever more important role in our daily nutrition. One reason for this is our growing population, which comes with an increased awareness of healthy eating. Furthermore, unlike animal proteins such as meat, gelatin, milk and egg products, plant-based proteins possess a considerably better ecobalance.
The most well-known plantbased proteins are soy and wheat. However, pea proteins are increasing in significance, since the demand for non-GMO and non-allergen products has continued to grow worldwide. Providing solutions for these trends, the Emsland Group offers innovative products
in the form of its new pea protein isolates Empro® E 86/ Empro® E 86 HV as well as extruded protein
crisps Empro® Tex.
Empro® and Empro® Tex can be used in a wide variety of applications, e.g. breakfast products, bars and snacks.
