Isabel Gomez is the Marketing Manager of Lipofoods, a Lubrizol Company. Isabel has 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing in several FMCG industries such as skin care, foods and pharma. She has been directly involved especially with the marketing strategic planning of the launches of new products and marketing and communications plan execution. Based in Barcelona, Spain, she is an enthusiastic marketing professional with a great understanding of the business needs and international mind-set. Isabel has participated in several tradeshows around the world and has given presentations on microencapsulation applied to Lipofoods branded ingredients in US, Europe, Asia, and Latin-America. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de las Americas Puebla in Mexico, a Master's Degree in Cosmetics Science & Dermopharmacy from Centro de Estudios Superiores de la Industria Farmaceutica (CESIF) and a Master's Degree in Marketing Direction & Business Management from INSA, Business, Marketing & Communication School.
Sphera Encapsulation Business Development Manager
Dipl.-Ing. Martina Vakarelova, PhD (Plovdiv 1986) graduated in Plovdiv, Bulgaria in the University of Food Technologies where she specialized in the Technology of Fermented products. She also attended some courses in the University of Ghent, Belgium during her Master thesis. After graduation, she started working in product development in different fields for diverse years always in the role of Product Manager and Business Developer. Later she returned to academics, following a PhD in Biotechnology with a topic "Microencapsulation of bioactive molecules from Spirulina Platensis and Haematococcus Pluvialis". During her PhD studies, she had the chance to spend some time in the lab of Prof. Denis Poncelet, an expert in the field of microencapsulation in ONIRIS, Nantes. After graduating, she became one of the Co-Founders of Sphera Encapsulation - the first Italian company dedicated 100% to research and development in the field of encapsulation.
