275GL+ Product Leader INNIO Waukesha gas engines
Greg Polkus is the Product Manager for the Waukesha 275GL+ product line at INNIO. As a leading provider of power equipment and services, INNIO is focused on power generation and gas compression at or near the point of use. INNIO´s product portfolio includes highly reliable, robust reciprocating engines that generate 200 kW to 10 MW of power for numerous industries globally. The business is headquartered in Jenbach, Austria.
Greg leads the 275GL+ product line which develops new products focused on improving the reliability and performance 275GL+ engine. He is responsible for the multi-generational product plan which is the long-term product strategy ensuring Waukesha units continue to deliver industry leading value for operators of its engines.
Greg joined GE Distributed Power (now INNIO)´s engineering group in 2015, where he was the project manager for the VHP Series 5 engine development. He later became the 275GL+ engineering leader, where he was responsible for several reliability improvements and the launch of the 275GL+ with ESM2.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan.
