As the oil and gas industry matures, more and more subsea pipelines are operating at or near the end of their design life. In most cases the pipelines are still transporting fluids and are crucial to the pipeline infrastructure so are not ready to be decommissioned.
Extending the design life of the pipeline is a real benefit, but how can you ensure safe and reliable operation well into the future?
This webinar will explore the lifetime extension process as outlined in ISO/TS-12747 and explain the steps that are required to ensure safe and reliable on-going operation of ageing pipelines. It also explains the KP4 initiative launched by the HSE in 2010.
We will clarify the lifetime extension requirements in the industry and share our understanding of the issues that must be addressed during the LE process. The webinar will also summarise the requirements in the ISO standard and KP4 strategy.
Ageing offshore assets is an issue that requires action now: this webinar will give you the understanding you need to confidently tackle this problem head-on.
