Improved Performance
Jenbacher gas engine owners can extend their engine´s oil and filter life by up to 100% while reducing lifecycle costs by as much as 30%. Available for the type 2, 3, 4, 6 and 9 engines, both Jenbacher N Oil 40 and Jenbacher S Oil 40 improve dry lubrication properties for enhanced valve protection and enhances dispersancy for cleanliness and soot handling. Proven Results
Since 2015, Jenbacher N Oil 40 has accumulated more than 700,000 hours of field validation with more than 100 units of long-term monitoring across multiple engine platforms. Our extensive field testing has proven capability of sustaining performance within a high-severity gas engine fitted with thermally loaded steel pistons.
Jenbacher S Oil 40’s superior technology benefits include extending the oil service interval by on average 80%, as well as approved extended used oil limits. Both of which are co-validated in lab and field test environments.

Luke Pearson is a Senior System Owner at INNIO Jenbacher, responsible for managing strategic partnerships & technical product development with lubricant suppliers.
Starting his career in the UK in 2005 for another engine OEM as a manufacturing engineering apprentice and finishing as a senior mechanical development engineer.
In 2013 he relocated to Austria as a Lead mechanical engineer on the Type 6 platform, before specialising in lubricant development since 2015.
Luke holds a First-Class Degree in Engineering from the University of Northampton, UK.

Thomas Jaud has been the Managing Director of INNIO Jenbacher North America LLC since 2019 and he has more than three decades of experience in the global power generation industry.
Thomas was one of the original team members in the US when Jenbacher opened its first subsidiary for the Americas in the early 90’s. Thomas has gathered years of hands-on field service experience including commissioning engineer and project management, led the sales and commercial part of the business in North America and the integration of the Waukesha business, led the Jenbacher business in Latin America & Caribbean region and more.
