Connectivity needs are changing as power utilities sharpen their operations with greater real-time grid control and automation for increased efficiency, while integrating renewable generation and transforming to new business models. Oil & gas company essential connectivity requirements are also evolving with their growing focus on automation for greater efficiency, sustainability and workforce safety. To make Industry 4.0 work for their organization, Energy needs industrial-grade, pervasive, broadband wireless connectivity.
Enhance your understanding of spectrum for broadband wireless networks including band categorization from a 3GPP perspective, and specific options for power utilities and oil & gas companies to build their own private networks in Europe, Middle East and Latin America. Explore the use cases and specific spectrum supporting these today with private LTE/4G networks and what is coming with 5G – use cases and spectrum.
