Doug LaFreniere is the Engineering Director for Software and Defense Antennas for Smiths Interconnect Inc. Doug has more than 30 years’ experience in the microwave and communications industries and has been with been with Smiths Interconnect Inc. for the last 20 years where he conceptualized and contributed to the development of multiple antennas, in addition to Data-link and SATCOM antenna systems. Doug holds several software certifications, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from California State University Northridge.
David Popelka,
Director, Product Development
David Popelka is the Product Director for Smiths Interconnect Inc. David is responsible for the defense and commercial product lines, product strategy, along with product and technology roadmaps. David earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Bradley University and an MBA from Mercer University. He has over 25 years of industry experience in system level technology including product design, product management, global sales and market segment management.
