What pain points are you anticipating whilst upgrading and have they already started the process?
You made decisions 5/8/10 years ago that meant that Windows Server 2003 was the right solution to deliver business services. But just because you have 800 servers running Windows Server 2003 today doesn’t mean you should have 800 servers running Windows Server 2012 tomorrow. What may have been the correct answer then will not necessarily be the correct answer in 2015 when we have a whole new raft of technologies. Old physicals can be consolidated onto fewer virtual servers. Services like file sharing can be consolidated onto a shared storage platform. Even things like Exchange 365 or other cloud models can be used to provide the same servers.
This isn’t an infrastructure upgrade, it’s an application migration. There is no direct upgrade path from 2003 -> 2012. HP can partner with you on this journey and help modernise your IT environment and move your organization to the ‘New style of IT’. This webinar will outline the key areas you need to think about and how HP can help you through the migration.
