Gary has worked as an analyst, software engineer, CIO and consultant over three decades.
Prior to joining GlobalData, Gary served as the Chief Analyst for research firm Ovum’s Software team. Before becoming an analyst, Gary worked first as a software engineer then as an enterprise architect in the UK and France, developing and designing mainframe and large-scale client-server applications.

Simone supports public sector bodies with cloud migration and transition strategies. Simone has over 25 years experience in IT, of which the last 15 have been focussed on the UK Public Sector. Simone has previously worked for both global IT organisations and SMEs, delivering cloud services to UK government including early government cloud adoption via the G-Cloud framework. Utilising her core skills and understanding of the Public Sector, she is helping government organisations leverage AWS cloud services.

Jon advises government and business leaders in matters of strategy, digital transformation and technology investment. He specialises in helping decision-makers buy and build technology which delivers good value and improves service.
His recent clients have included The Cabinet Office, HM Treasury, The National Archives, the Department for Communities and Local Government, and the NHS.
Jon is an independent adviser to boards on investment in cloud technologies. In particular, he helps CFOs and CTOs move away from waterfall, cap-ex focused IT towards Agile delivery and on-demand computing.
Jon holds an MBA from HEC Paris, and is an AWS certified solutions architect.

An experienced technical Programme/Project Manager/Consultant with extensive knowledge of different types of Cloud infrastructure and Cloud based offerings (AWS, Azure, Google, HP, IBM and Oracle) and transformation from on Premise to Cloud.
Experience across a number of different sectors most recently in Local Government. Excellent understanding of LG procurement and also hurdles that LG need to overcome including security, need to upskill and other issues.
