Sponsors are increasingly turning to a Functional Service Provision (FSP) model as pressure continues to drive increased efficiency, reduce cost in R&D and increase speed of development cycles - without sacrificing quality. In fact, recent reports suggest that even with stable or growing pipelines, nearly half of all sponsors are interested in reducing their internal capacity and resources in the coming years.
But how can a sponsor find the best fit for functional outsourcing given that an FSP can be configured in many different ways? This webinar will discuss strategies for leveraging the benefits of an FSP based on the preferences of the sponsor and needs of a study, and discuss key considerations for optimizing functional outsourcing.
The growing role of technology in clinical research in FSP partnerships is another angle that will be discussed. Even when sponsors have complete control over a study, accurate tracking of progress and proactive identification of potential pitfalls is important for effectively managing collaboration in a global study. How can sponsors leverage technology to keep up to date on operational performance as well as meet the demands from regulatory agencies to demonstrate oversight of their vendors?
If you are considering an FSP model for one study or as a company-wide strategic outsourcing model, or you just want to understand more about the configurations that are available to you, please join this informative webinar to learn about the options for reducing overhead and creating more alignment and predictability in your process.
