Increase Cell Culture Development Value Using the Modular Automated Sampling Technology (MASTâ„¢) Platform
This webinar is for people who really want to know what’s going on inside their bioreactors! We will present case studies where Bend Research has used automated sampling in our biotechnology laboratories as we drive to achieve product attribute control or increase the consistency of data generated from samples.
As an example, we will describe how we correlated percent galactosylation of cell culture protein to the galactose feed concentration using the MAST system to take high frequency reliable samples. Other examples include sending cell culture samples to other instruments such as the Nova BioProfile FLEX, sampling from microbial fermenters and from downstream purification product streams.
Come and listen to our presentation and learn how automated sampling can take your development program to the next level.

Clint Pepper, PhD.,
Director
Clint Pepper has spent more than 20 years in the biologics, pharmaceutical and medical device industry creating products, developing processes and manufacturing biopharm compounds in development, clinical and commercial environments.
Clint earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Washington State University. From there, he moved to UCLA to complete his M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering where he focused on the manufacturing scale up and characterization of extremophilic archea organisms.
Early in his career he has focused on developing biologic and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and the associated facilities that house them. He has seen several products through from Phase I to commercial. Later he moved to the medical device field where he has developed and manufactured over 50 different medical device products.
Now, Clint is helping Bend Research create the Modular Automated Sampling Technology (MAST) autosampling solution that can be used in any application where maintaining sterility of the manufacturing process is the highest priority.
