When will renewables be the dominant source of energy? Find out what the experts say.
The drive towards sustainability has never been more urgent – and technology will continue to play a crucial role. But when will renewables overtake fossil fuels in the global energy mix? The Lloyd’s Register Technology Radar research programme examines the outlook for renewable energy, grid and infrastructure, data &digital technologies and energy storage.
The Technology Radar is an opinion-led primary research exercise based on a survey of almost 800 professionals from the global sector, and in-depth interviews with leading industry experts.
The latest edition of the study, released in February 2018, asks the question: when will renewable energy become the dominant source of energy? Furthermore, the study examines which technologies are likely to have the greatest impact in different countries, and what are the key drivers and inhibitors for success.
Join the webinar to find out what the industry thinks – and how you can be part of the transition to a low carbon economy.
