As the number in-service fluid samples grow, scientists are faced with an insurmountable amount of data and need tools to help visualize complex relationships within their data, organize their data, identify data trends, and share data with collaborators. Data interpretation needs be more of a holistic understanding of the equipment’s reliability versus the reading of a single data point.
In this presentation, we will upload real in-service fluid examples into Spotfire, a dynamic visualization tool that helps scientists better understand relationships of in-service fluid samples. We will start with data acquisition and advanced data analysis, and follow the process through data visualization. We will explore complex outputs and demonstrate the value of multi-directional interpretation. By applying extensive correlation techniques within Spotfire, it is now possible take an in-depth look at large amounts of in-service fluid data.
