Automatisiertes Dynamisches Design & Verpackungsmanagement

This webinar will be presented in German.

This webinar will be presented in Italian.

Quality Control Tools for the Brand Packaging Workflow

Errors in packaging are costly – not only in a material sense but also in terms of brand equity, reputation and future business success. According to the FDA, 50% of food and drug recalls can be attributed to labelling errors. With thousands of products, hundreds of SKUs and counting, keeping track of the accuracy of packaging has become a challenging and error-prone process. There is no question that quality control for printed packaging is essential for every company to be confident in releasing products to market.

Beschleunigen und Automatisieren Sie Ihren Design - & Packaging Prozess

Consumer Insights in Packaging: Quantifying Perception and Cognition

Traditionally, package design has been very product-focused in nature: design decisions were largely driven by factors that improved shelf life, reduced damage or cost or enhanced production efficiencies. Although these are, and will always be, important drivers in packaging design decisions, more and more frequently packaging designers are also employing a user-centered approach. When viewed through the lens of consumer insights, packaging has the potential for value add, becoming more than a commodity driven necessity.

Saving time and money with virtual packaging design solutions

Prototyping is an important part of the packaging design process and we create prototypes for a wide variety of reasons. They might be created to test the structural integrity of the design, or to check that the design meets the marketing need or to see the visual impact of new design concepts and choose between them. But physical prototypes also have some big disadvantages. They can be time-consuming and costly to produce, eating into your lead-time and budget. And there are some specialty features we use in packaging that simply cannot be reproduced with a physical prototype.

Your brand colors are a critical component of your brand's equity but maintaining color consistency can feel like an insurmountable challenge. Capture savings by uncovering the REAL costs in packaging artwork management

Today's battle for the consumer is on the retail shelf and your package's "shelf shout" has to be better than ever. Packaging artwork is a key asset you can use to ensure that you get noticed. Managing artwork design and development requires a balance between the creative and technical sides of packaging. Creativity in packaging design can really set your product apart from the competition. But those technical details, the barcodes, marketing copy, logos and regulatory content, can really slow you down if they're not managed well.

Do you control your packaging or does it control you?

The packaging supply chain presents many challenges. Functions are often performed in "silos" inside a company or between different companies. The players can be located around the world: in different time zones, using different tools and speaking different languages. All these participants must perform flawlessly under extreme time pressure. Managing expectations and handoffs between these different players is not only challenging; it's also a major source of errors and delays.
