The recent European Cancer Congress 2013 in Amsterdam was a great success, providing superlative surroundings for all participants to leverage knowledge, promote education and build awareness about oncology - reinforcing multidisciplinarity to work towards ensuring that every patient does indeed receive the best.

Over 18 000 participants from 120 different countries attended an outstanding 32-track programme containing the latest developments in cancer research, treatment and care, compiled by more than 200 Scientific Committee members. 300 programme sessions hosted over 3 368 presentations from 800 eminent invited expert speakers containing their latest data, knowledge and experience. A record number of 44 late-breaking abstracts presented practice-changing data in four presidential sessions.

Truly multidisciplinary conferences such as the ECC 2013 not only work, but also serve to establish standards for the future. And the biennial European Cancer Congresses have become an important milestone on the world congress agenda in achieving this. Below you will find a selection of videos, from the Congress Highlights, where expert leaders in the field discuss together their favourite abstracts and topics from the wide-ranging scientific programme, through to personal insights from a number of thought leaders and top experts.
